Arroyo Signs With D-Backs

Best hair in the NL West now goes to Bronson Arroyo
Right handed starting pitcher Bronson Arroyo has signed a 2 year #23.5 Million deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks have been searching for a starting pitcher all winter. They were conspired to be part of many trades, but they lost out on the Masahiro Tanaka sweepstakes and have settled for the stud that is Bronson Arroyo. Arroyo has been a work horse pitching close to 200 innings in every season since 2004, when he won a World Championship with the Boston Red Sox. Arroyo avoids injury and takes the burden of a large workload. In both 2012 and 2013 Arroyo pitched 202 innings in both seasons with a 3.74 and 3.79 ERA respectively.

With the trade of Ian Kennedy in the 2013 regular season, the Diamondbacks have brought back the steady pitcher that their rotation needs. Anchored by Patrick Corbin, held together by Brandon McCarthy, Daniel Hudson, Wade Miley, and now Bronson Arroyo, the Diamondbacks have a steady and possibly underrated rotation.
